Student Scholarships

We strongly encourage participation from students, and place a high value on creating opportunities for the next generation of Arctic scholars and practitioners to engage with the wider UArctic community.

A number of scholarships will be available to support participation of Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students in the UArctic Congress 2026. The scholarships are intended to help cover costs related to attending the Congress, such as travel, accommodation, and registration.

The scholarship programme will be open to students and early-career researchers. Final details regarding eligibility criteria, application requirements, and funding amounts are currently being developed.

We plan to open the application process in January–February 2026. Further information, including guidelines and deadlines, will be published on this page as soon as it becomes available.
