Shuttle Bus Service
To make transportation to and from the congress venue as convenient as possible, shuttle buses will operate throughout the duration of UArctic Congress 2026.
The buses will run on all three congress days, from morning until evening, with regular departures between central Tórshavn, selected major hotels, and the venue at Við Tjarnir.

We encourage participants to purchase shuttle bus tickets in advance, as this helps us plan capacity and, if necessary, arrange additional buses.
Price: DKK 200 (approx. EUR 26.77) + payment fee
The ticket is a one-time fee valid for all three days of the Congress and allows unlimited travel on the shuttle buses throughout each day.

Morning Departures to Við Tjarnir (26–28 May)
Shuttle Buses During the Day (26–28 May)
From 09:00, shuttle buses will depart every 30 minutes from Við Tjarnir.
Route:
Við Tjarnir → Hotel Føroyar → Hilton Garden Inn → Hotel Brandan → Bursatangi → Við Tjarnir
Additional evening departures
Tuesday, 26 May
From 17:00, two additional buses will be added, and departures from Við Tjarnir will run every 15 minutes.
At 18:15, eight buses will be ready to transport participants from Við Tjarnir to the city centre. Each bus will operate two rounds.
Wednesday, 27 May
From 18:00, two additional buses will be added, and departures from Við Tjarnir will run every 15 minutes.
At 19:20, eight buses will be ready to transport participants from Við Tjarnir to the city centre. Each bus will operate two rounds.
Thursday, 28 May
From 20:00, two additional buses will be added, and departures from Við Tjarnir will run every 15 minutes.
At 21:00, eight buses will be ready to transport participants from Við Tjarnir to the city centre. Each bus will operate two rounds.
The shuttle buses will be clearly marked with UArctic Congress 2026 signage in the front windows.
